There was a time, not so long ago, when visually customizing your Corvette from the factory boiled down to picking between a couple sets of wheels and a handful of exterior color options. As the color palette expanded in the 2000s (to the point of having a record 14 choices this year), so did the interior color options. Late in the C6’s life cycle, Chevrolet started allowing buyers to select brake caliper and headlight bezel colors. At the same time, unique deviated stitching was introduced to the inside RPO list. The C7 kicked things up another notch with its assortment of functional vents and stripe packages that could be tailored to each customer’s individual taste (and budget). The latest generation has continued to beef-up the order guide to the point where there are multiple carbon fiber packages, wings, and even six(!) seat belt colors to choose from!
The move to a mid-engine layout has provided yet another area for Corvette customers to obsess over. Those lucky enough to call themselves Z06 customers have a jewel case situated behind their seat, and, along with the announced carbon “dress-up” package, the look of each possible manifold color is starting to take shape. Yesterday’s Indy 500 Pace Car announcement featured our first look at an Edge Red intake manifold installed in a working 2023 Z06 after only seeing it on a display engine up to this point. There is also a cutaway display out there that features a silver crown as seen here:
That brings us to today’s Corvette Nation poll; if these three cosmetic manifold options find themselves in the configurator, which one will/would you order? Are you going with the Ferrari-look red, the mechanical silver, or the traditional black? Take the poll and let us know!

Dont need to. Getting the convertible
I have the Red cover on my C8 and really like it, I think it stands out through the rear windshield. This is the first vehicle I’ve ever had to wash the engine most times after each car wash, it REALLY shows all the brake dust. I guess it’s “If you wanna to Play, you gotta Pay”. LOL
What would Zora do? (WWZD)
I’d go with a custom paint job, like what I have on my current C8.
Red, of course!!!
