[VIDEO] Jordan Taylor Takes Us Behind the Scenes of the 2022 Roar Before the Rolex 24

Corvette Racing’s Jordan Taylor is no stranger to social media as he has entertained us over the years with his funny videos and other observations such as racing with a “half-cracked visor” or his recreations of “Dope Celebrity Pics.” Earlier this year, the championship-winning driver said he plans to launch a dedicated YouTube channel where he plans to share everything from his daily life to behind-the-scenes footage from the races.

Jordan’s first official video for his channel was posted on Tuesday and he takes us with him as he and the other drivers at Corvette Racing come together at Daytona for the three-day Roar Before the Rolex 24 practice session which culminates in the 100-minute qualifying race.

Corvette Racing would go on to qualify in P8 and P9 in the new GTD-Pro class, and as Jordan discusses in the video, one of the downers of the weekend was that the team wasn’t pleased with their overall pace as they make the transition from GTLM to GTD-Pro.

We also get to see life as a driver which includes all the pre-season activities like getting your picture taken for the IMSA series and a round of media interviews. We also get to see the drivers hanging out together as there was a lot of downtime between the practice sessions.

Here’s Jordan’s final thoughts on the Roar weekend:

I think all things considered it was a good productive week, obviously not as competitive as we had hoped, but that was the most running we’ve done with this new car in this spec. So we learned a lot. The race was interesting, had some good battles and you know now the guys will go back dig through the data all week, and hopefully, we’ll come back with a little bit stronger Corvette for the Rolex 24 so stay tuned.”
