It was a great night to be a yellow C7 Corvette Z06, at least at Palm Beach International Raceway in Jupiter, Florida.
The Drag Racing and Car Stuff channel on YouTube captured all the smoke-filled action, beginning with the Z06’s impressive annihilation of a Fox Body Ford Mustang, 10.64 to 12.27.
The mighty Chevy picked another win in a battle with a Blue Charger Hellcat, at least according to the light that signals a win for the Z06. The times on the board, however, showed the Hellcat winning 10.61 to 10.62. Not sure what that was about.
A little brother C6 Corvette Z06 turned out to be the next victim as the C7 showed absolutely no mercy for a family member, running a 10.59 to an 11.67.
Two more runs against Dodge Challengers closed out the C7’s spectacular night, with the first falling 10.69 to 11.44 and the next going down, too, but narrowing the margin to 10.14 to 10.17.

Wow, that looks like fun. That ZO6 is bad to the bone and he can actually drive it, awesome. Take that Dodge boys yuk, yuk:) Ya now get all these guys out on a road-course, the Mopiles have zero chance, going fast for 2 1/2 blocks is one thing but trying to stop or turn corners is a whole other ball game, which Dodge fails at miserably yuk, yuk. Dodge doesn’t even try and compete in hardly any type of racing anymore. Pretty funny, Ford is the only competition for GM anymore and that’s minimal. As far as the almighty Corvette, Ford and Dodge have nothing to offer. Only the European cars are any competition these days, and they cost 2-3 times as much, awesome. This is why the Corvette has been, is and always will be the best deal in America, can’t wait for the new ZO6.
By the way Pancho, that’s called Drag Racing. Quick reaction and 2-3 tenths faster is the name of the game, Chevrolet just does it better.
