Now that the holiday season is upon us, have you thought about what to give your Corvette this year? Our friends at ACS Composite have a few suggestions for you with these great Corvette aftermarket products that will protect and enhance your Corvette all year long. Your Corvette will appreciate the attention and you’ll love the new looks as well. Check out these customer favorites from ACS Composite.

C8 Corvette Rock Guards

Now that the C8 Corvette Stingray has been out for a couple of years, owners are seeing the damage that rock strikes and other road debris thrown from the sticky Michelin tires can do to the sides of their beautiful sports cars. The C8 Corvette’s “Coke bottle” shape features a wider rear end to accommodate the larger rear tires as well as offer the ability of the side air intakes to capture air for cooling, and because the rear of the car is wider than the fronts, rocks kicked up by the front tires are going to hit the lower rear sides of your Stingray. While costly solutions like paint protection film (PPF) can help minimize the damage to your exterior paint, these new C8 Corvette Rock Guards from ACS Composite offer the ultimate protection to guard your Corvette’s exterior against rocks and other debris.

C8 Corvette Rock Guards

In designing their C8 Rock Guards, ACS took measure of GM’s stock accessory splash guards and then maxed them out with a wider edge and a bladed shield that controls rocks and rock debris inside the wheel wells. The C8 Rock Guards also have a downward extension that is longer than the OEM splash guards to provide additional stopping power front and back.

ACS Composite’s C8 Corvette Rock Guards are manufactured from their proprietary PC Composite material with is very strong and durable, and they are able to withstand extreme temperatures as well as rock strikes projected by the spinning wheels.

Installing the C8 Corvette Rock Guards is quick and easy and takes as little as 30 minutes to put them on your Corvette. ACS uses the stock OEM mounting points in the wheel wells and there is no drilling or two-sided take required. Watch the installation video to see just how easy installing the C8 Corvette Rock Guards are.

ACS Composite offers the C8 Rock Guards as a set (two front/two rears) for $499 with free shipping included.

ACS COMPOSITE’S C7 Z06 Splitter

When designing the aero components for C7 Corvette’s Z07 package, GM spent a considerable amount of time aero-testing the front splitter in the wind tunnel so that it would perform at the level necessary to ensure Chevrolet’s Big Nasty Z06 would reap the benefits of improved aerodynamics at the track. ACS Composite has taken GM’s Z07 front splitter and redesigned it in CAD and CNC machined it from the ground up with slight improvements over the original design. The end result is a clean-looking, durable and functional aerodynamic splitter that now also fits on both the C7 Corvette Stingray and Grand Sport/Z06 models.

Once again, ACS Composite uses its proprietary PC Composite material for constructing the Z06 Front Splitter. PC Composite is generally reserved for high-volume production parts due to its strength and durability, and its resistance to scraping makes it perfect for mounting on the front of the C7 Corvette. ACS calls this “the last splitter your C7 Corvette will ever need” due to its ability to minimize curb rash and other mild road hazards.

ACS COMPOSITE'S C7 Z06 Splitter

Like the C7 Corvette Z06, the ACS C7 Z06 front splitter can be customized with the addition of Stage 2 and Stage 3 winglets that are mounted on the corners of the splitter. These deflectors help to move and reduce the airflow off the ends of the splitter. As the name implies, the Stage 2 deflectors are smaller and more conservative than the larger Stage 3 deflectors. GM’s OEM deflectors can also be used with the ACS C7 Z06 Front Splitter.

The ACS C7 Z06 Front Splitter is mounted by using all the OEM mounting screws and no extra drilling for the rivets is required as they use the same mounting mounts. ACS shows you how to install the Z06 Front Splitter in an installation video featured on the company’s YouTube channel. The ACS C7 Z06 Front Splitters are available for the C7 Corvette Stingray as well as the C7 Grand Sport/Z06 models with a starting price of $499.00 and shipping is free!

C7 and C8 Tow Hooks

Nothing says “race-inspired” quite like a tow hook mounted to the front of your Corvette, but there is a great reason why you should have one, if only for emergencies. Because our Corvettes sit low to the ground already, it can be hard for a tow truck operator to get a hook on your chassis without damaging the front fascia and spoiler on your Corvette. These tow hooks from ACS are made from chrome-moly steel that screws into a receiver on the front or rear fascias. The tow hook’s D-Ring is offered in red powder coat for a long-lasting finish.

C7 and C8 Tow Hooks

ACS Composite’s tow hooks are designed to fit the front and rear of all C8 Corvettes, as well as C7 Corvette models from Stingray to ZR1. However, early C7 Stingrays manufactured prior to 12/14/2014 or non-Z51 Stingrays require a receiver that is also offered by ACS. The tow hook’s D-ring will not rub or hit the grill or bumper as the Heim’s joint is very tight. To install, simply reveal the hook receptacle and screw it in until tight.

C7 and C8 Tow Hooks

ACS Composite offers the C7/C8 Tow Hooks for $125 or you can upgrade to the front and rear set of two for $225. Two Hooks for C7 Stingrays built early or non-Z51s without the receiver are $225.
