[VIDEO] Procharger Supercharger Kit for the C8 Corvette Now Shipping and It Makes 675 HP!

It’s been over a year since Procharger first started on their quest to build a supercharger system for the mid-engine C8 Corvette and today we got the news that the kit is now complete and ready to ship.

Procharger calls it their HO kit and they say it increases the stock 495 HP of the LT2 V8 engine to 675 HP at 6.5 psi on 93-octane fuel. Further performance figures released include a .3 reduction of 0-60 times, 8 additional MPH in the quarter-mile, and a reduction of lap times on the road course.

This is a bolt-on system that requires no permanent modifications to your Corvette. There is no fabrication or other modifications to your car other than trimming the rear carpet which is easily replaceable. With the Procharger supercharger installed, owners still have full access to their rear trunk which will still hold your golf clubs or removable roof panel. We also like the different options available which allow owners to select between polished, black, or a carbon fiber head unit.

Procharger utilized two company-owned C8s plus several select C8s that are participating in the R&D beta program as part of their year-long testing. In the video below, they say the supercharger-equipped cars were tested across the country in different climates while also laying down thousands of miles on the street to ensure the reliability of the system.

Procharger says their Tuner Kit which has no tuning or fuel components provided starts at $11,999 and the Tuner Kit Plus with fuel components and timing control starts at $12,899.
