When Racing Sport Concepts set out to create their own carbon fiber rear diffuser for the C8 Corvette, they didn’t just copy GM’s OEM version. They created a new brand new diffuser from the ground up that was designed to exaggerate the look of the OEM diffuser while making many subtle changes to improve the quality of fitment and enhance the final look of the carbon fiber finish.
The Carbon Fiber Rear Diffuser by Racing Sport Concepts is a direct replacement for C8 Corvette’s OEM rear diffuser. RSC’s in-depth research and development processes and state-of-the-art laser scanning allow them to reverse engineer the stock OEM diffuser utilizing 3D CAD software to ensure all the mounting points and rear sensors are correctly positioned. Multiple prototypes from 3D CAD engineering files were 3D printed and refined to ensure the perfect fitment and proportions with no gaps between the car and the carbon fiber part.
The installation of the RSC Rear Diffuser requires no drilling or modifications and it’s completely reversible. Racing Sport Concepts provides a full-color installation guide for the rear diffuser which is available for download from the website.
Racing Sport Concept’s C8 rear diffuser is manufactured with 100% pre-impregnated carbon fiber fabrics combined with cutting edge epoxy resins and then cured using advanced autoclaves. This process enhances the strength and shape of the rear diffuser and creates the strongest, lightest, and highest quality carbon fiber available. The end result is a beautiful 3K 2×2 twill weave pattern that’s coated with a premium UV inhibiting clear coat for a mirror-like finish.
One look at the RSC Carbon Fiber Rear Diffuser and you’ll see the quality of the carbon fiber on display. At the center point is a dividing line in which you can see the weave of the carbon fiber comes together. RSC even adds a tow-hook access panel with the weave perfectly matching the surroundings. The exhaust openings appear quite generous and offer a perfect fit for both the stock exhaust tips or for those who have or are adding an aftermarket exhaust solution.

Sharp looking! But OMG, the first time it takes any shot and you’re seeing $2,400 gone. The same (more so) with front splitters. Makes me almost afraid to drive the car at that point.
