The STC stands for “Street Track Corvette” with the front splitter’s design initially inspired by the 5VM OEM splitter. Racing Sport Concepts uses an ultra high-detail laser scanning process to map out the overall fit and OEM mounting locations on the splitter, and then multiple prototypes from 3D CAD engineering files are 3D printed and refined to ensure the perfect fitment and proportions with no gaps between the car and the carbon fiber part. The STC Carbon Fiber Front Splitter has a very complex surface and a design that is not possible to replicate by hand molding.

The STC front splitter is also referred to as a Stage Two front splitter as it features large canards on each corner. Racing Sport Concepts utilizes a “counter-sunk” design which offers a channel to wrap the carbon fiber splitter around the bottom of the front fascia. With the counter-sunk design, the front splitter can be larger and more aggressive, and it will add more depth to the car’s appearance without sacrificing ground clearance and drivability. The splitter’s tight fitment looks like it comes directly from the factory, and it will stay in place whether you are tracking your Corvette or utilizing it for a more dynamic appearance for the street.

Racing Sport Concepts uses the highest quality carbon fiber materials to create parts for your Corvette that are both lightweight and very strong. Pre-impregnated carbon fiber is a type of Carbon Fiber fabric that is pre-impregnated with resin during the manufacturing process. This creates a perfect resin distribution throughout the material and the end result is an immaculate 3K 2×2 twill pattern protected by a premium UV inhibiting clear coat that provides a mirror-like finish.

Installation of the stage two carbon fiber front splitter is a snap as there is no cutting or drilling required to mount the splitter to the Corvette. Just remove the existing front bumper screws and then attach the STC front splitter to the car. It’s about a 30-minute job to do the install and it’s totally reversible. The STC Front Splitter is also ready for Racing Sport Concept’s optional undertray and wing pairing which will be released soon.

The STC Carbon Fiber Front Splitter provides aerodynamic benefits to the C8 Corvette with increased downforce and cleaning up the airflow from both underneath and around the car. During track testing at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course, the front splitter has shown consistent lap time gains of 1-2 seconds against the stock Z51 front splitter, which were tested back-to-back on the same day and in as close to identical conditions as possible.
