[VIDEO] C8 Corvette Owners Gathering in Qatar

Here’s a pretty cool video showing a group of C8 Corvette owners meeting up at a Chevrolet sales center in Qatar, UAE, and then heading out for a group drive. It’s a bit on the short side in our opinion, and it has the feeling of being a “corporate video” which is another way of saying it’s well-produced and exactly :60 seconds long.

The video was posted by a Corvette Forum member named G37Sam who also supplied a number of great photos from the event.

He says in the post that all the “Gulf Spec” C8 Corvettes come standard with the Z51 package and he also elaborates on some of the other regulations the car needs to have. While being “hot and dusty weather friendly” is a must for the area, G37Sam says that cars are also required to have a “120kph Overspeed warning” which apparently features a “ding dong chime” at speeds greater than 75 mph.
