[SPIED] RHD C8 Corvette Shows Off Interior During Fuel Stop

I’m a bit surprised these photos of C8 Corvettes in the right-hand-drive configuration haven’t made the rounds of the auto blogs and social media sites despite them being among the first pics of the RHD interior spotted in the wild. So let’s change that!

Our friend Rick Conti featured two photos of the RHD C8 Corvettes in a YouTube video posted over a week go as we were all discussing the recent spy photos of the Accelerate Yellow RHD Coupe as it was driving on public streets in the Detroit area.

Following the spy shots we posted last week which simply consisted of a drive-by, this snow-covered RHD Stingray Coupe looks like the same car that was spied, except this time we get a real-life look at the flipped cockpit that mark the RHD versions. In addition to the Accelerate Yellow car, Conti also has this photo of two engineers in a Black/Red RHD Corvette as well and thanks to the roof panel being removed, we get a good look at the interior as well:

The RHD models will have the potential to greatly increase the number of C8 Corvettes that are exported with Japan, the U.K., and Australia/New Zealand all expected to see big gains over previous model year exports. Already we have seen pre-orders in Japan amount to around three times the number of C7 Corvettes that were sold there.

Rick discusses the RHD Corvettes in this video below. In the discussion, he shares a couple of fun facts that were unaware of regarding the C8 RHD models:

“Who cares? Build them for here first!”

They’ve been doing that Daniel…. over here we’ve had to wait until the 2022’s.
