Another fun week for Mike as he makes Corvette dreams come true. This week we see a number of new Corvettes delivered with one going to a well-known judge in California! We also see a Red Mist Convertible with a temp tag parked in a familiar-looking garage as well so congratulations to that well-deserving owner! As always, a great collection of vintage racing and other throwbacks await your review! Mike reads the comments so let him know which are your favorites for this week!

~Each passing day brings us closer to longer days and Spring weather and before you know it the Cold states will be Corvette cruising time. Over the last several years Cars and Coffee events have popped up everywhere and they are like mini car shows without trophies…except they are not so mini anymore. Come and go as you please, stay ten minutes or stay 2-3 hours…as long as the shop owners are ok and the crowd stays respectful then it’s a fun activity. My Corvette deliveries at Criswell are my car show events, so many different options, color choices/combo’s, wheels and of course, lots of smiles all around. I see the Corvettes getting traded and the new Corvettes going to the beaming new customer…it’s my Nirvana, and I don’t mean the Rock Band! ~I start my day each morning at 5:30am on my home computer and yesterday I was at Criswell Chevrolet by 6:45am to meet the first of my many Corvette deliveries and the rest is history…it just rolls from there.
~Lots of deliveries this past week so lets get started…
~Judge Lance Ito of Pasadena, California was referred to me by a corvette client of mine from Los Angeles, California. You may recognize Mr Ito’s name from the OJ Simpson’s trial as he was the Judge. We have become friends through this process and he said he feels like a 9 yr old kid fulfilling a lifelong dream of owning a Corvette. I had it drop shipped for courtesy delivery to his local Chevrolet dealer in Chino, California and this past week I could hear him jump for joy as he took delivery. Here is Lance’s survey words…

~Josef W. of Highlands Ranch, Colorado placed his factory order from me for an Arctic White 2021 Corvette coupe with adrenaline red interior. Today he took delivery at the National Corvette Museum in BG, KY. Equipment list: chrome badges, front lift, bright red calipers, performance exhaust, torch red seat belts and 2LT pkg.
~Greg and Lisa R. of San Antonio, Texas placed their Corvette order with me and they wanted to do the Museum experience…this past week was their delivery day! The red carpet was rolled out for them both to enjoy. Equipment list for their 2021 Z51 Torch Red convertible: 3LT pkg, Two-tone adrenaline red/black interior, CF Painted Nacelles and roof, front lift, CF Instrument panel, bright red calipers, CF Painted wheels, visible CF Grille insert, custom interior trim, cf painted mirrors/spoiler and much more.
~John C. of Pasadena, Texas factory ordered his new 2021 Corvette Z51 coupe for Museum delivery and yesterday was red carpet day. John ordered Red Mist with Adrenaline Red/Black interior. Equipment list: GT2 buckets, transparent top, color combo override, front lift, Z51, magnetic ride, CF painted mirrors/spoiler and 2LT pkg.
~George S. of Spring, Texas factory ordered an Elkhart Lake Blue 2021 Corvette Convertible with Sky cool gray interior. This past week was his corvette museum delivery and I’m sure he had a blast! Equipment list: body color accents, CF interior trim, magnetic ride, performance exhaust, spectra gray wheels and Elkhart lake blue Corvette script on back.
~Scott T. of New Market, Maryland had ordered his 2014 Corvette from me and got on my C8 list early. Scott factory ordered a 2021 Z51 Corvette Convertible in Ceramic Matrix Gray metallic with two tone Red/Black interior. This past week was delivery day here at Criswell Chevrolet. Equipment list: 3LT Pkg, CF painted Nacelles and roof, magnetic ride, edge red calipers, CF painted wheels, composite rockers, Z51, adrenaline red stitching, and Jake logo center caps.
~Richard M. of Edmond, Oklahoma has ordered several Corvettes from me over the years and this past week he took delivery via courtesy delivery at a near to him Chevrolet dealer in Oklahoma City, OK. Richard ordered a Torch Red Z51 coupe with red/black two tone interior. A note from Richard on the survey…
“Everyone has been great to work with that I have had contact with. Mike Furman has been Fantastic to work with as always. ::He knows more about past and present Corvettes than anyone I have ever worked with. ::This is my third Corvette from Mike and my eleventh Corvette overall. This C8 is the best by far of any of those 11 Corvettes,GM knocked this one out of the park! I can’t wait to get more miles on it so I can enjoy the full performance experience!! I did travel one time to your dealership to pick up a 2017 Grand Sport and it was a very efficient and personnel experience. ~Willie C. of Bowie, Maryland was scheduled to do museum delivery this week but decided to ship the Corvette home and then our service department added the high wing spoiler. Willie factory ordered a Red Mist 2021 Corvette Z51 convertible with all the goodies. Equipment list: 3LT pkg, two tone natural interior, CF painted Nacelles/top, front lift, CF interior trim, magnetic ride, edge red calipers, cf painted mirrors, and tan seat belts. A super nice guy is awfully glad to have his super nice Corvette! Yesterday I gave him a tutorial on all things C8.
~David H. of Southwest Ranches, Florida was referred to me by a previous customer from Florida that David knows and he waited 16 months for today. David flew up to BWI and completed his paperwork process in under 25 minutes and was back on the road South in no time flat. David was watching as I finished up several of my 14 deliveries yesterday and couldn’t believe how I handled so many deliveries at once. David had our service department install the high wing spoiler on his 2021 Corvette coupe and it looks great especially on the Accelerate Yellow metallic paint with black features. Equipment list. 3LT pkg, Black Competition sport seats, yellow seat belts, yellow stitching, CF full length stripes, magnetic ride, cf painted wheels, CF painted mirrors, engine appearance pkg, Z51 pkg, and much more. 1,000 mile ride home will be a breeze in his new C8!
~Paul M. of Annandale, Virginia ordered his C7 from me so he called me up 18 months ago to get on my C8 list. His 2021 Red Mist tintcoat Corvette arrived Friday and his birthday is Sunday so I put a giddy up on the PDI process and fit him in to my Saturday morning delivery schedule. Equipment list: 2LT pkg, GT2 buckets, magnetic ride, edge red calipers, performance exhaust and Natural two tone seats.
~Robert F. of Weddington, North Carolina factory ordered a Zeus Bronze 2021 Corvette Z51 Convertible with the Morello Red dipped interior and the Performance Pewter 5 spoke wheels. Great combo that is sure to be an attention getter! I gave him a sight unseen trade value on his 2016 Corvette convertible and he and his buddy drove up Friday night and stayed close by. Equipment list: 3LT pkg, CF/midnight silver stinger stripe, front lift, magnetic ride, Z51 pkg and much more. I had him on the road quickly for the 430 mile ride home to North Carolina.

~Richard S. of Eldersburg, Maryland factory ordered a Red Mist 2021 Corvette Convertible w/Z51 and Saturday was the perfect day to take delivery as it was really sunny out. Next week has bad weather expected so I squeezed him in to Saturday’s deliveries. Equipment list: 2LT pkg, Jet Black interior with microfiber inserts, GT2 buckets, CF painted Nacelles/top, magnetic ride, edge red calipers, cf painted wheels, cf painted mirrors/spoiler and Z51 pkg.
~Tim T. of East Setauket, New York has most likely bought 70 new Chevrolets from me over the last 11 years, at least 14 Corvettes! We completed the paperwork/payment process via Fed Ex this week and yesterday he sent an enclosed trailer to meet me at 6:45am and load it up the 300 miles home to Long Island. Tim’s new Black 2021 Corvette Z51 Convertible has the Sky cool gray interior. Equipment list: 3LT pkg, front lift, CF interior trim, magnetic ride, sterling silver wheels, and Z51 performance pkg.
~Brittany Y. of Hanover, Maryland got the Car bug from her Father who came along yesterday to pick up Brittany’s forever dream Corvette, 2021 Torch Red Z51 coupe. Her Father owned a mint 2010 Corvette and a plethora of other musclecars over the years. Yesterday was the first time we met as the whole process has been over the phone. ~Back in March of 2014 I started the C8 deal folder list with two deposits, one for the first year and one for the 2nd year for whatever the next generation was going to be without knowing 2020 would be the first model year. I knew well enough after 4 decades of selling Chevrolets that “Chance favored the prepared mind” Soon after many of my Corvette customers followed and hence the C8 file drawer grew bit by bit. Wednesday I took delivery of my 2021 Red Mist Tintcoat Corvette Convt with two tone Sky cool Gray/ Black microfiber insert interior…my 22nd Corvette that I’ve owned (and 44 Musclecars).
*Luck of the draw got my new Corvette vin 2021.* Equipment list: 3LT Pkg, Magnetic ride, front lift, Red seat belts, Spectra gray wheels, Carbon Flash Black painted roof and Nacelles, composite rockers, Splash guards and Jake center caps. Hopefully I get to attend Corvette events this year, Corvette club meetings and Cars and Coffee gatherings. My 5,000th Corvette delivery should occur late April so stay tuned as Adam’ Polishes promised a surprise for that event.

Love the throw back photos, hard to pick one as my favorite. My heart broke a little seeing the ’63 coupe body shell laying on the grouns with broken windows.
