The Drawing for the 2020 Corvette is December 30, 2020

I don’t think anyone really knew just how hot the mid-engine C8 Corvette was going to be when it was unveiled in California in July 2019. With the move of the engine behind the driver and a price tag that was almost impossible to fathom, the 2020 Corvettes have become instant collectibles and were snapped up quickly. And that was before the UAW strike and the COVID-19 shutdowns put even more demand on the new sportscar. But there’s still a chance to bring home a 2020 Corvette this year thanks to the annual sweepstakes through the International Motor Racing Research Center.

When you make a tax-deductible donation to the IMRRC for the preservation and sharing of motorsports history, you are entered to win a Ceramic Matrix Gray 2020 Corvette Stingray Z51 Coupe. The Stingray features the 495-hp LT2 V8 that’s mated to the 8-speed automatic dual-clutch transmission for lightning-quick shifts. The Z51 Performance Package features the performance suspension, larger brakes, and the NPP dual-mode performance exhaust. The Z51 also includes the summer-only Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires while the gearbox is optimized for faster shifting to help the Corvette go 0-60 mph in under 3 seconds!

But wait! There’s more to this Grand Prize than just the C8 Corvette! The grand prize winner will also be eligible for three additional exciting prizes:

  • One hour of track time in your new IMRRC C8 Corvette with a professional driving instructor at Watkins Glen International during the 2021 season. Travel and coordination of track time will be the responsibility of the winner.
  • Two 2021 memberships to the Jack Daniels Club at Watkins Glen International. This includes IMSA, NASCAR and SVRA Vintage Races, plus general access to SCCA.
  • A two-day performance driving school at the Ron Fellows Performance Driving School at Spring Mountain Motor Resort and Country Club in Las Vegas, Nevada. Includes a two-night stay, breakfast and lunch. Winner must attend the school before the end of 2021, and arrange and pay for their own travel.
