CorvetteBlogger Readers Get 50% More Entries - Live Drawing This Saturday at Corvettes at Carlisle

This weekend is the annual Corvettes at Carlisle event and we are saddened that we can’t be there this year to see all of our friends, the great in-field of Corvettes on display, and watch the drawing for the Torch Red 2020 Corvette Stingray that will be given away live at the grandstand on Saturday afternoon.

Over the last few years, the Chip Miller Amyloidosis Foundation (CMAF) has given away a new Corvette to raise funds for the non-profit organization and because of the COVID-19 shutdowns that canceled many of their other events, this 2020 Corvette sweepstakes is more important than ever!

These are the final days to get your tickets to win the all-new 2020 Corvette Z51 Coupe in beautiful Torch Red with the Natural leather interior. Inside the car, the controls, gauges, and center-console are all orientated towards the driver as if you are sitting in the cockpit of a fighter jet. Behind the driver sits the 6.2L LT2 V8 engine with 495-hp and 470 lb-ft of torque. This Stingray is upgraded with the Z51 performance package which adds the beefier suspension and larger brakes, plus quicker gearing for the 0-60 mph sprints in under 3 seconds!

The C8 was named MotorTrend’s Car of the Year and the 2020 North American Car of the Year. It’s currently the hottest car in the USA and it could be sitting in your driveway next week for as little as $25. Option B is a $75,000 cash option should you decline the Stingray.

Back in the 1970s, Chip Miller, along with close friend Bill Miller, started a gathering of Corvettes that would become the largest Corvette event held anywhere on the planet. Sadly, Chip was diagnosed with a little known disease called Amyloidosis in December 2003 and passed away just a few short months afterward. Had Chip and his doctors been aware of the symptoms of the disease when they first presented, this Corvette legend might still be with us today.

The Chip Miller Amyloidosis Foundation’s goal is to help people diagnosed with the disease and increase awareness for those that aren’t familiar with it. They aim to empower people with knowledge and an understanding of Amyloidosis in order to detect it earlier and create a path to a better quality of life for those afflicted with the disease as well as also help find a cure.
