Someone will be the new owner of a 2020 Corvette coupe by the time Mecum’s Summer Special 2020 auction comes to an end Aug. 29.
The Blade Silver Metallic over Adrenaline Red Stingray will be on the auction block at no reserve, which means it’ll sell regardless of how much it brings.
The pre-auction estimate is that this 2LT Corvette will fetch between $90,000 and $100,000. At the Mecum Indy 2020 auction earlier this summer, a similar Blade Silver 2LT with only 11 miles sold for a whopping $106,000.
At least the owner of this Blade Silver car got to enjoy his ride a little bit as the car is said to have just 1,191 miles on the odometer and appropriately enough appears to remain in showroom condition.
The car doesn’t appear to be particularly loaded, however, other than the 2LT package, the 19” front 20” rear 5 open spoke Carbon Flash painted aluminum wheels with machined edge for $995, bright red brake calipers ($595), and performance exhaust ($1195). Noticeably missing is the front end lift.
Of course, all 2020s are equipped with the LT2 6.2-liter V8 engine that cranks out 495 horsepower and 470 lb-ft of torque, as well as the 8-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission with paddle shifters.
With the 2LT package, the car also includes a host of nice options, including the rear camera mirror, heated and ventilated seats, performance data recorder, head-up display, front curb view camera, side blind zone alert, rear cross traffic alert, heated steering wheel, upgraded 14-speaker Bose audio system, and power folding mirrors.
Bidding is now open for the 2020 Corvette in advance of the live auction, and you can read more about it at mecum.com.

Someone with more $ than patience will soon learn the definition of vehicle depreciation.
From the pics on the Mecum site, it’s 1LT. No Front Camera and no Heated and Cooled Seat buttons in the cockpit, no red trim on doors and dash, no rear camera for the mirror above the rear deck.
