[VIDEO] 2020 Corvette Runs the Quarter Mile in the 10s with a 50 Shot of Nitrous

Earlier this month we shared the first dyno video of the 2020 Corvette owned by Mark Carlyle of Carlyle Racing in which it did 440-horsepower and 408 lb-ft of torque with just 24 miles on the odometer.

Mark then took the car back to his shop and the next time it was seen online it was sporting drag racing radials in the rears with some skinny tires up front, but the biggest surprise was the bottle of nitrous that now resides in the mid-engine’s frunk.

In this next video, we see what the addition of the go-fast juice does to the LT2 V8 as the car makes multiple runs a local drag strip and it’s quite impressive. With the Micky Thompson drag radials, 100-octane racing fuel and of course, the 50-shot of nitrous, this 2020 Corvette Stingray becomes the first to make quarter-mile runs in the 10s.

Carlyle is clearly blown away by the capabilities of the 2020 Corvette Stingray as the car runs a best time of 10.65 at 130 mph and without the nitrous the car ran a quick 11.05 seconds at 126 mph which was much quicker than another C8 Corvette that was recently at the dragstrip!
