Spring Mountain Closed Until April 20th

With Nevada’s Governor ordering the closure of all non-essential business for 30 days in response to the Coronavirus, our friends at Spring Mountain and the Ron Fellows Performance Driving School have announced they will be closing the facility until April 20th.

Here is the official notice sent to us this afternoon by Spring Mountain:

Spring Mountain Closed Until April 20th
Governor of Nevada Closing Businesses in Response to COVID-19 Outbreak

PAHRUMP, Nev. – Governor Steve Sisolak announced yesterday to all Nevadans that all nonessential businesses were ordered to remain closed for a period of 30 days in response to the COVID-19 Coronavirus outbreak in the U.S. and throughout the globe. Nevada’s latest Coronavirus containment effort unfortunately applies to Spring Mountain Motor Resort and Country Club as well.

“I have spoken with Nevada’s top medical experts to get their assessment of our current situation and most responsible next steps,” Gov. Sisolak said. “They have advised that the most effective course of action is to direct all Nevadans to stay home and for all non-essential businesses to close to the public for 30 days.”

During this period of National Emergency, Spring Mountain will be closing the facility on Thursday, March 18th, 2020, as mandated by the governor. This is an unfortunate turn of events and an unprecedented moment in our company and community. All Ron Fellows Performance Driving School, Cadillac V-Performance Academy, and Club Spring Mountain driving programs and services will resume on April 20th, 2020.
