[VIDEO] Mobil 1 The Grid: Corvette Racing’s Internal Rivalry

Here’s another good post-season video from our friends at Mobil 1 the Grid that explores the internal competition on Corvette Racing’s squad between the two crew chiefs, Dan Binks and Brian Hoye. The two have worked and competed together for 30 years and while it seems like the competitive spirit is alive and well between the two, both say that all that matters in the end is Corvette Racing getting the win.

During the segment, we hear from Jan Magnussen and Oliver Gavin on how important each of their crew chiefs has been to them. We also know that Chevrolet will let the teams race each other as long as they are able to keep it clean. Ollie reminds of the 1-2 finish of the Corvette C7.Rs at Daytona in 2016.

Corvette Racing have racked up over 100 wins between their two cars, with two crew chiefs determined to win. The drivers and team members talk about working together as a team, as well as racing hard against each other when it comes to it.
