Lingenfelter Fall Open House is this Saturday October 12th

An autumn tradition takes place this weekend as the Lingenfelter Collection open its doors once again for their annual fall open house. The event will take place this Saturday, October 12th from 10am to 5pm. Donations will be accepted at the door with all proceeds from the open house going to The Pink Fund.

The Pink Fund provides 90-days of non-medical financial support to breast cancer patients actively in treatment. They help to cover health insurance premiums, housing, transportation, and utilities. So far, they’ve awarded $3,679,845 to 2,385 survivors.

“While fighting for their lives, men and women in treatment for breast cancer often lose their livelihood,” said Molly MacDonald, Founder, The Pink Fund. “It is through the generosity of others, and wonderful fundraisers like the Lingenfelter Collection Open House, that The Pink Fund is able to provide financial support to help meet basic needs, decrease stress levels and allow breast cancer patients to focus on healing while improving survivorship outcomes.”

The Lingenfelter Collection is an eclectic grouping of about 200 muscle cars, Corvettes, and hot rods. It’s not open to the public but is open to clubs and charity events. The spring and fall open houses can draw 4,000-5,000 people.

In addition to supporting The Pink Find and viewing the awesome cars, other features include a scavenger hunt, a kids coloring area, racing simulators, food from Tony’s Dogs, Tim Horton’s coffee, a drawing for Continental Tires, Ken Lingenfelter poster signings, Ferrari Enzo engine rev, and a display of 2 2020 Ferrari 812 Superfasts. Additionally, guests can take place in a social media photo contest using the hashtag #PinkLingenfelter.

The Lingenfelter Collection Fall Open House will take place this Saturday from 10am – 5pm. The Collection is located at 7819 Lochlin Drive, Brighton, MI. For more information call 248-486-5342 or visit www.Thelingenfeltercollection.com.
