Corvette Enthusiasts Raise $240,000 for the Annual Corvette Drive to St. Jude Children’s Hospital

We always love to see the good that Corvette owners are capable of in providing support for worthy causes. One such event is the annual Corvette Drive to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Memphis, TN.

This year, a total of 73 Corvettes were registered for the annual Corvette Drive which brought the hospital over $240,000 in contributions from the drivers, their passengers and those that sponsored them.

The Corvette Drive to St. Jude was started in 2012 with enthusiasts gathering in Peoria, IL., and making the 500-mile trek to the hospital where they would meet and greet the kids undergoing treatment. Today, that original caravan is still going strong and two others have been added with our friends at Mid America Motorworks hosting the Effingham, IL. to Memphis Drive while another group of enthusiasts travels to Memphis from St. Louis. Over $1.1 million has been raised from the St. Jude Corvette Drive since its founding.

Since 1962, St Jude has helped raise the survival rate for childhood leukemia in the United States from 20% to over 80% today. No family has ever received a bill for care from the hospital, and their groundbreaking research is shared with hospitals all over the world.
