Corvettes for Sale: 2019 Corvette ZR1 Was Formerly Part of GM's Test Fleet

If you’re in the market for a 2019 Corvette ZR1 and operating on a tight budget, then you might want to check out this low-mileage used model at Reeder Chevrolet in Knoxville, Tenn.

This former GM company vehicle has only 11,000 miles on the odometer, up for sale at the relatively bargain basement price of $117,999. While it’s not loaded out, it still is nicely equipped and probably listed for around $125,000 new. Best of all, it comes with a Certified Pre Owned Warranty from GM as well as a clean Carfax report.

This Corvette Racing Yellow Tintcoat ZR1 coupe, of course, comes with the 755 horsepower supercharged 6.2-liter V8 powerplant, along with navigation, Performance Data and Video Recorder, 7-speed manual transmission with active rev matching, Carbon Flash-painted outside mirrors, head-up display, visible carbon fiber removable roof panel, carbon flash wheels, and yellow calipers.

It has the 1ZR package, which means that this car, despite coming with an original price in excess of 120 grand, doesn’t have heated and ventilated seats, believe it or not. We think Chevy might want to consider making those seats standard on all ZR1s considering their original MSRP; oh well, guess it’s a good way to entice folks into upgrading to the 3ZR package.

The dealer also notes that the pictures on the listing do not illustrate the front spoiler/splitter. They say the Front Spoiler/Splitter is a special order part from Chevrolet, and the installation is included in the price.

We did manage to find two other used ZR1s on autotrader.com for sale this morning at a lower price, but with the caveat of having considerably more miles on the clock. A Corvette Racing Yellow Tintcoat coupe with 50,677 miles is being offered for $106,693, while a Ceramic Matrix Gray Metallic convertible with 51,321 miles is $109,993.

Autotrader has 93 ZR1s for sale today, new and used, and we were surprised to see so many examples being offered with around 10,000 miles or more.

We’re glad to see folks actually getting out and enjoying the outstanding performance of this supercar, instead of just parking it in their garage and letting it serve as a pretty piece of art.

  1. And how does a used car with 11K miles that stickered for $125K when new get considered a “bargain basement” deal at $118K?
