[VIDEO] 2019 Corvette ZR1 Presentation at the 2018 LA Auto Show

It occurred to me this morning after watching this presentation of the 2019 Corvette ZR1 at the LA Auto Show that it was one year ago today that I flew to LA for a one-day stay to see the new Corvette for the first time. The trip, dubbed BONZAI Run to the ZR1 was definitely an experience to remember as about 30 Corvette enthusiasts from all parts of the USA and Canada met for a day of ZR1 fun at the auto show.

A lot has happened in the year and thankfully most has been great news. The 2019 Corvette ZR1 production kicked off in March amid strong demand and a very tight supply. Over the last 10 months, just about 1,400 Corvette ZR1s have been built and many dealers have customers still lined up and waiting for their opportunity to purchase one.

The press has been good to the ZR1 and we are seeing awards and accolades for the car from Road and Track who named it the 2019 Performance Car of the Year while Motor Authority called it the Best Car to Buy in 2019.
