[ACCIDENT] Emergency Workers Free Corvette Driver after Two Vehicle Collision in Pennsylvania

“We got lucky”…

That comes from Fort Allen Deputy Fire Chief Bob Cammarata in response to a two-vehicle crash on Wednesday on Route 163 in Fort Allen, PA.

Authorities say a silver sedan crossed the centerline and struck a red C6 Corvette driven by an unidentified male. The driver was trapped in his Corvette until firefighters arrived on the scene and were able to cut apart the car to rescue him.

The Corvette’s driver was transported to the hospital to be looked over, but it sounds like this could have been much worse.

“He is fine, probably has a bump on his leg and some lacerations. but he’s going to be fine so we got lucky,” Cammarata said.

The road was closed for an hour after the crash as crews cleaned up the accident scene.

The accident is being investigated by the Pennsylvania State Police.
