Corvette Racing heads to Virginia International Raceway this weekend for the GT-only battle known as the Michelin GT Challenge. Not only is the Corvette team looking to catch up with the GTLM leaders in the No. 67 Ford GT, they have a chance to race for the overall win! There are just a few races left on the schedule so a strong finish at VIR is essential to Corvette’s championship hopes.

Antonio Garcia and Jan Magnussen are second in GTLM championship standings and only four points behind Westbrook and Briscoe. Although the duo in the No. 3 C7.R have yet to see the winner’s circle in 2018, they have been very consistent and currently enjoy a streak of five consecutive GTLM podium finishes: Mid-Ohio (third), Watkins Glen (second), Canadian Tire Motorsport Park (second), Lime Rock Park (second) and Road America (third). Now they are headed to VIR where they have won the last two years in a row. Can the No.3 Corvette C7.R do a three-peat?

Thanks again to our friend Charley Robertson of the Corvette Racing Fans page on Facebook for these racing links to help all the Jake fans to keep up with the action.
