[ACCIDENT] C5 Corvette Crashes in Canadian Province of Newfoundland

Up north in the Canadian province of Newfoundland, emergency workers responded on Thursday evening at 7:00 pm to a single car crash involving a red C5 Corvette convertible.

The crash occurred along Waterford Bridge Road in St. John, NL just past the Corpus Christi Church.

Luckily, the male driver and female passenger were uninjured in the crash, but the same can’t be said about the Corvette.

The driver lost control of the Corvette when jumped the sidewalk and hit a sign before coming to rest in the middle of the road. Debris from the crash was scattered nearly 100 feet and the hood, fender and front bumper were torn from the sportscar. The accident also completed sheared the driver’s side rear wheel leaving just the middle section of the wheels still attached to the car.

No word if the driver was ticketed or charged by authorities.
