The 2018 Michelin NCM Bash is April 26th – 28th

The Corvette world will descend upon the National Corvette Museum this week as they host the annual Michelin NCM Bash. The Bash is the first big event of each show season at the museum. As usual, they’ve got a host of activities to keep attendees occupied for 3 full days.

Once again, the Corvette Engineering team from Michigan will be on hand to talk about the new 2019 Corvettes including the 755hp ZR1. Throughout the weekend they’ll be hosting seminars, leading walkarounds, and answering any questions attendees may have. If you’re looking to learn more about the C7 Corvette this is your chance to hear answers direct from the people that help design and validate the car.

The seminar topics this year range from getting your Corvette track ready to the restoration of the 1962 sinkhole Corvette to using the C7’s navigation system. Thursday the 26th offers attendees the opportunity to hit the track over at the Motorsports Park. $99 gets you a full day of track time in 20-minute intervals. Other driving-related opportunities include runs to Rockcastle Shooting Center, the O.Z. Tyler Distillery, and the Swope Museum among others. This year’s list of celebrity book signings includes former Bowling Green Plant Manager Will Cooksey and super restorer Kevin Mackay in addition to the Friday afternoon Corvette celebrity autograph session.

But wait, there’s more! Don’t miss the live auction hosted by Adam Boca and Doug Feehan. Even if you don’t buy anything Adam’s and Doug’s comedic banter is well worth the price of admission. From there you can head over the NCM Kartplex for some high speed go-kart action. Current BG Plant Manager Kai Spande will host is traditional plan update and Paul Koerner and Brittany George will host their popular series of presentations, diagnostic clinics, and drop-in sessions. Show off your ride in either or both of the 2 celebrity judged cars shows taking place Friday and Saturday.

The Bash is an exercise in time management. There’s so much to do there that we can’t possibly list it all here so click on over to the NCM’s website for a full rundown of the weekend’s events. CorvetteBlogger will be at the Bash once again so keep an eye here and on our social media feeds for updates from the 2018 Michelin NCM Bash.
