Zip Corvette has been supplying thousands and thousands of parts for enthusiasts for years.
Recently the company took things a step further by hosting members of the Mid-Atlantic Chapter of the National Corvette Restorers Society at a tech session, judging school, and mini-judging meet at its facility outside of Richmond, Va.
“We had a great time at Zip Corvette! Your facilities are perfect for our NCRS Technical Seminars and Judging Meets. Over the years our Chapter has collectively begun looking forward to the friendly welcome and warm hospitality at Zip, and you never let us down. Our members are already looking forward to another Zip Corvette event next year!” said Jim Board, Vice-Chairman of the Mid-Atlantic Chapter.
More than 30 chapter members first spent the morning at a judging meet, where they examined a 1969 Corvette in detail. After an awards ceremony and a barbecue lunch provided by Zip, enthusiasts heard some great advice on topics that included C2 Jack Compartment Board Restoration and DIY Zinc Plating.
All enthusiasts who live in the Mid-Atlantic area – with the main concentration in Maryland, Virginia, and West Virginia – are invited to join the already 200-plus members of the chapter (and their 300 Corvettes!) who are dedicated to the preservation, restoration, and enjoyment of America’s Sports Car.

As for Zip, the company has been a leader and innovator in the Corvette industry for 40-plus years, with more than 20,000 Corvette parts in stock and ready to ship. As they point out, if it’s stamped, cast, forged, milled, molded, or stitched for a Corvette, Zip has it.
“Zip is proud to support the NCRS and is a faithful partner of the Mid-Atlantic Chapter,” a company spokesman said.
