[PICS] Corvette Assembly Plant's Administration Offices Get a New Covered Entryway

Photos by Jeremy Welborn

It wasn’t just the inside of Bowling Green’s Corvette Assembly Plant that recently received a makeover.

We just got these photos from our friend Jeremy Welborn that shows the front of the assembly plant with a redesigned entryway.

Now, visitors to the administration offices will pass under a modern awning that is appropriately colored White with Red before arriving at a set of security doors. The new awning structure provides a larger covered entrance as well as an updated handicap ramp with new railings that is now covered by the elements as well.

It’s not often we see these kinds of noticeable exterior upgrades done, so get used to it as these awnings will probably still be in place when we are talking about the C10 in 2032. Or would that model be called the CX?

Of course, Jeremy conveniently shared a “before” photo showing the plant’s old entryway which you can see here in the background.
