[REVIEW] The 280-Piece Corvette Racing Toolbox from SONIC Tools

SONIC Tools joined forces with Corvette Racing during the 2017 season as a technical partner and those same tools that are used by crew chief Dan Binks and the mechanics at Pratt & Miller on the Corvette C7.Rs are now being offered to enthusiasts in the form of this special edition toolbox.

The Corvette Performance Toolbox and toolkit includes 280 tools and accessories all stored in SONIC’s foam inlays for the ultimate organization. The form inlays, which show Corvette Racing’s logo in the foam, come fully loaded from the factory. Just unwrap the various plastic coverings and you’re ready to start wrenching! The five drawers are nicely organized based on different types of tools included, while two bottom drawers offer storage for anything else you want to have close at hand.

The Corvette Racing toolbox comes ready to use right off the pallet they are shipped on. The only assembly was the adding the bottle holders and paper towel dispenser on the side.

The toolbox itself is impressive. Large casters with locking wheels allow it to be positioned where you are working. That puts all the tools within reach as opposed to constantly having to walk back to the tool bench to fetch what you need. The Corvette Racing graphics are painted on the box and Jake and Corvette crossed flags look absolutely amazing! The top of the box has a nice stainless steel work area along with several molded compartments to keep your nuts/bolts/screws organized as well.

All SONIC toolboxes and tools are backed by a lifetime warranty. SONIC even offers a 24-hour online warranty exchange in case something should go wrong.
