Corvette owners know that one of the must-have accessories for their Corvettes is a quality car cover. Like the majority of Corvette owners, my Tuxedo Black 1966 Corvette resides in my garage, so I can go with a lighter material cover as I am more concerned about keeping the dust off the black paint as well as the occasional paw prints from our cat.

The ONYX indoor car cover is made from a polyester blend which includes Lycra and Spandex and it has a nice satin feel on the top while the underside is very soft. I describe the feel of the ONYX as being similar to a pair of ladies yoga pants. The ONYX is designed for a custom fit for your generation of Corvette and our C2 version fit our ’66 Sting Ray convertible like a glove. The cover features side mirror pockets and the material stretches nicely to provide full protection of the car.

We took our 1966 Corvette out to a scenic location in Tampa and gave the ONYX a thorough review. In every way the ONXY exceeded our expectations and we have no qualms about giving the ONYX a 5-star rating. About the only fault we have is that there is no pre-exisiting hole for the rear power antenna, but a quick snip with a pair of scissors fixed that.
