Bring a Trailer currently has this unique C6 Callaway Corvette coupe up for auction through Thursday, Aug. 24 at 5:30 p.m.
Fortunately, the dark brown with gold metallic trim 2007 Corvette has already been treated to a “Bring a Boat” or a “Bring a Plane” treatment as it has recently been returned to the United States from its original owner in the United Arab Emirates.
It’s ironic (and somewhat sad) that this Corvette has been driven just 456 miles on land (including 100 since the Callaway conversion) as it’s actually traveled thousands of miles over the water or through the air during its apparently pampered decade of life.
Bring a Trailer notes that the Corvette was custom built for a Callaway dealer in the UAE and features a supercharged LS2 V8 that pumps out 616 horsepower and 582 lb-ft of torque. It could definitely toss some sand in the air with that kind of power.
It’s fully tricked out with Callaway’s Multi-Pro suspension, custom Dymag carbon/magnesium gold-colored wheels, not to mention an accident-free Carfax report, service records (including a total fluid change in May) and a clear Michigan title.
While this Corvette can obviously go, thanks to its rear-drive roots-type blower from Eaton, revised cylinder heads, modified valvetrain, six-speed transmission, and custom exhaust, it can also stop nicely, thanks to a Le Mans GT brake package with 14-inch two-piece rotors on both ends, with six-piston, contour-machined forged calipers on the front and four-piston calipers on the back.
Handling has been upgraded, too, with the Multi-Pro suspension package that includes threaded alloy-bodied coilovers with 10 clickable positions for rebounding and damping adjustments.
The black leather interior remains mostly stock, with just the addition of a roll bar and a short shift kit.
Bidding ends in three days, and the figure had climbed to $26,250 as of Wednesday morning. How much would you be willing to pay for this powerful C6?
