Most of the major automakers blew into the Windy City last week to set up for the second round of the 2017 auto show circuit here in the US. The 2017 Chicago Auto Show is now in full swing and runs though February 20th.
A special thanks to CorvetteBlogger reader Laud Okoh for providing us with these photos from the show.
Chevrolet’s display featured two Corvettes: A White Stingray Convertible with Adrenalin Red interior and the new 2017 Corvette Grand Sport in the traditional Admiral Blue with White stripes and red hash marks on the fenders.
They also set up a personalization display showing some of the products from Genuine Corvette Accessories including aerodynamic grills, rear spoilers and rocker panels, as well as items to dress up your Corvette like the hood liners and door sill plates. And don’t forget the official Corvette luggage set!
These Corvette accessories and more can be ordered through the parts counter at your Chevrolet dealership.
Rounding out the Chevrolet display is a compliment of crate engines from Chevrolet Performance.
Our friends from Lingenfelter Performance Engineering also had two Corvettes on display.
First up is the Blue and White Superformance Grand Sport we saw last fall at SEMA. The Superformance Grand Sport is equipped with the Lingenfelter enhanced LS7 that offers just over 600 hp on tap.
However, it was the Lingenfelter Red Corvette Z06 that really got our interest up. For the second year in a row, Lingenfelter is offering a Ken Lingenfelter Signature Edition Series. The car features all the great aerodynamics and braking from the Z07 Performance Package plus LPE’s enhancements to boost performance of the car to 800 hp!
The Red #001 Signature Edition is part of the 2017 Corvette Dream Giveaway’s Grand Prize and you will soon be able to buy your tax-deductible raffle tickets to win both this Corvette as well as a 1963 Corvette Sting Ray Sport Coupe!
Here’s all the Corvettes from the 2017 Chicago Auto Show.
