Corvette Racing reminded us with a photo tweeted Monday afternoon that the test day for the 24 Hours of Le Mans is now less than two weeks away. The team has been working prepare the Chevrolet Corvette C7.Rs as well as to catalog all the spare parts, tools and related equipment to ship to France.
Officially, Le Mans Test Day will be held Sunday, June 5th, two weeks prior to the running of the 24 Hours of Le Mans. All teams must take part in the test as well as any rookie drivers.
In a recent interview on Autoline, Corvette Racing Program Manager Doug Fehan said that in the 17 consecutive years of participating in the 24 Hours of Le Mans, if the team has learned anything, it’s how to pack and ship their equipment.
