Lingenfelter Collection to Hold Fall Open House to Benefit Breast Cancer Awareness

The Lingenfelter Collection is hosting its annual Fall Charity Open House for breast cancer awareness at Lingenfelter Motorsports in Brighton, Michigan on Saturday, October 4, 2014 from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Just about everyone in the Corvette world knows of Ken Lingenfelter and his extensive collection of not only Corvettes, but other muscle and exotic cars. Ken and his wife Kristen use the car collection to connect with people in ways that transcend automobiles. The Fall Open House for Breast Cancer Awareness is just one of their charitable efforts. All proceeds from the event will go to The Pink Fund, which provides active-cancer-treatment patients with up to 90 days of direct financial assistance to cover non-medical expenses, such as health insurance premiums, housing, transportation and utilities.

This year’s event will feature about 200 cars on display including Corvettes, exotic cars and muscle cars. Several vehicles in Ken’s collection are among the rarest automobiles in the world, including a Bugatti Veyron, an Enzo Ferrari, and a Lamborghini Reventón. Approximately 40% of Ken’s collection is dedicated to Corvettes and include a rare 1953 Supercharged Corvette, a 1955 Duntov Test Mule and a 2010 Lingenfelter-powered ZR1.

The event will be held at Lingenfelter’s huge warehouse at 7819 Lochlin Drive, in Brighton, MI 48116 where Ken houses cars from his extensive collection. Again, it will be on Saturday, October 4, 2014 from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Admission is free and donations to The Pink Fund will be accepted at the door.
