[VIDEO] Corvette Chief Engineer Tadge Juechter Answers Our Questions about the 2015 Corvette Z06

At the 2014 North American International Auto Show, an informal conversation with Corvette Chief Engineer Tadge Juechter turned into a 15 minute Q&A session. Quickly flipping on the camera, we caught a lot of great tidbits about some of the technology behind the all new 2015 Corvette Z06.

When the video opens, we were talking with Tadge about the adjustable spoiler on the back. Now, you’ve probably seen the adjustable bolts that are attached to the wickerbill that allows the clear partition to move up and down, but we learned that the whole spoiler itself has the ability to be rotated to get the desired driving experience. When the camera is turned on, Tadge was telling us about how it was rotated a little to much for driving engineer Jim Mero who asked if someone was trying to kill him. Good times!!

Other things we asked about was the new eight-speed automatic, what the standard options are on the Z06 (all the good stuff is standard), and where the heck is that Stingray Nurburgring video!

Again we thank Tadge for taking the time and talking shop with us. We’ll probably have a few more questions for you next time we meet up!
