[VIDEO] Vossen Shows Off New CVT Wheels on the 2014 Corvette Stingray

Many of the first customers to receive the 2014 Corvette Stingray are actually aftermarket businesses that will be using the new 7th generation sports car to test and showcase their products.

We just saw this video from Vossen Wheels and figured that will all the “FIRST” videos being made, this is probably the “FIRST” C7 Corvette to have aftermarket wheels. While we can’t back up that claim on paper, we can certainly tell you to hit the play button after the jump to see more.

It’s only prudent for wheel makers to get into the C7 aftermarket as quickly as possible. After all, wheels are one the first things that new Corvette buyers spend their aftermarket dollars on. And now that Corvettes are selling at a pace not seen since last decade, there will be a lot more new Corvette buyers to go around.

The video that Vossen has put together shows the Black C7 Stingray wearing the company’s newest monoblock CVT staggered directional one-piece cast rims. Those rims will me made in 20 inch and 22 inch diameters.

CarScoops has this from an earlier press release detailing Vossen’s CVT Wheels:

“The [CVT] wheels on the driver’s side and passenger side of the vehicle twist towards the same direction, whether it’s a square or staggered fitment.”
