[PIC] Throwback Thursday: 1963 Corvette Sting Ray Burnout

It’s time for Throwback Thursday where we feature vintage photos of Corvettes. Today’s selection is an Ermine White 1963 Corvette Sting Ray Sport Coupe burning a little rubber.

Some would say that the C2 model which featured both a Coupe and Convertible body style was the best design ever for the Corvette. It’s hard not to agree, but we just think they should be driven like this guy was doing. Burning a little rubber. And when we say little rubber, check out those skinny bias ply tires that were put on Sting Ray back in the day!

The picture was taken in April 1965 according to the full-size photo while the Hawaiian license plate proclaims the Corvette as belonging to someone in the Aloha State.
