Corvette Museum to Raffle Kirk Bennion's 2013 Night Race Blue Corvette ZR1 on Thursday

Since no one can buy a C7 Corvette any time soon, how would you like to have the next best thing sitting in your driveway before too long?

This week, the National Corvette Museum is raffling off a 2013 Night Race Blue Metallic ZR1 that even has a little more than the customary bling to it since it was the personal car of Corvette Exterior Designer Kirk Bennion. And you won’t have to wait long to find out if you’ll be picking it up – the drawing is set for Thursday, Jan. 17 at 2 p.m. Central Time.

Museum officials say this is the first time they’ve offered a Corvette ZR1 raffle ticket for the low price of $100.

Sales will be limited to 1,994 tickets, and as of Monday, just 722 tickets had been sold. You don’t have to be present to win, and a winner will be chosen no matter how many tickets are sold so your odds sound much better than winning the lottery!

The car is loaded and has only 14,778 miles on the odometer. It features an ebony interior, custom hood stripe, clear coated carbon fiber halo top, blue calipers, 6-speed manual transmission with short-throw shifter with launch control, and ZR1 black wheels with custom Elwood center caps.

Sporting VIN 00009, the car has a 3ZR package with navigation, Bose premium 9-speaker audio system with 9 months XM radio, power telescoping steering wheel, heated seats, memory package, Bluetooth, and more.
