We’ve got February 14th circled on our calendar and no, its not because it’s Valentines Day. This February 14th marks the return of a whole new season of Top Gear USA and if the third season is as good as this teaser video, then we’re in for one heck of a ride!
Top Gear USA will move to Tuesday’s this year on the History Channel and is once again hosted by comedian Adam Ferrar, rally and drift racer Tanner Foust and motorsports analyst Ruttledge Wood.
The USA version of The Stig also returns for Season Three and the new teaser video shows the unknown racer in the white fire suit and helmet setting a new “unofficial” lap record in the Hennessey-tuned Corvette ZR1.
That Hennessey ZR750 Corvette ZR1 upgrade is a monster. The 755 horsepower and 728 lb-ft torque propel the top of the line Chevy to a 0-60 mph time of 2.8 seconds and a 1/4 mile run is 10.3 @ 139 mph. You can see more about Hennessey’s ZR750 Corvette ZR1 at Hennessey Performance.
