GeigerCars Adds Power and Carbon Fiber to the C7 Corvette Z06

We’ve always been impressed with the work that comes from German tuner GeigerCars who specialize in tuning American cars, but their latest work on a C7 Corvette Z06 may be among their best yet. The stock 650 horsepower Corvette is already a fantastic blank canvas straight from Bowling Green, but check out Geiger’s power upgrades and the beautiful use of carbon fiber over the car as well.

Last weekend we shared some twitter photos of Corvette Racing’s Oliver Gavin having a Corvette Stingray delivered to his driveway. Gavin in a new ambassador for Chevrolet in Europe.

This week, teammate Jan Magnussen was in his home country of Denmark where he served as an ambassador of sorts as well, introducing America’s Big Nasty Z06 to Danish Royalty.

Today was a fun day for Corvette Racing driver Oliver Gavin. This morning he sent out a cryptic tweet suggesting something special was on the way. And when that special something finally arrived, even the rainy weather in the Englishman’s home town of Yardley Hastings couldn’t dampen his spirits when he saw his Arctic White Corvette Stingray Z51 for the first time.

Ah, Jeremy Clarkson. The guy we used to hate because of his biases against America, American cars and the Chevrolet Corvette, who then shocked us with naming the Corvette Stingray his car of the year now appears to be back to his old form. You threw us for a curve last year in your praise of the C7 Corvette Stingray, but seriously, we knew it wouldn’t last.

Now comes your review of the Corvette Z06 in The Sunday Times and I feel like I’ve flashbacked to 2008.

Recently deposed Top Gear host Jeremy Clarkson may be down, but he isn’t out. While speculation continues to swirl around the future of both Top Gear and its three presenters – Clarkson, James May and Richard Hammond, it appears that something may be in the works based on tweet from Clarkson. Yesterday, Clarkson nearly set the internet on fire with a tweet showing a 2015 Corvette Z06 with a film crew in the background.
