Pricing for 2019 Corvette Model Year Officially Released

Our friends over at the Corvette Action Center have got their hands on the official pricing of the 2019 Corvettes thanks to their friends at MacMulkin Chevrolet, who passed on the good news.

Good news you say? The 2019 Corvette pricing remains identical to the 2018 model year, reaffirming our belief that Chevy wanted to keep the transition from the shortened 2018 model year as smooth as possible. The only new additions we could find were related to the 2019 Corvette ZR1.

As Chevrolet announced during the Convertible reveal in LA, pricing for the Corvette ZR1 was said to be $119,995 for the Coupe and $123,995 for the Convertible model. That figured includes the mandatory $1,095 delivery fee. The actual MSRP is $118,900 for the Coupe and $122,900 for the Convertible. As previously reported, the ZR1’s upper-level 3ZR trim package is priced at $10,000, the ZTK Performance Package is priced at $2,995 and the Sebring Orange Design Package is $6,995.

The ZR1 also comes with its own unique wheel in four different color options. The star-patterned wheels come standard in Pearl Nickel, with three optional colors available:

  • Q9H Wheels – ZR1 Carbon Flash Painted Aluminum – $495.00
  • Q9J Wheels – ZR1 Satin Graphite Painted Aluminum – $595.00
  • Q9K Wheels – ZR1 Chrome Aluminum – $1,995.00

One fee that hasn’t really be addressed is that the 2019 Corvette ZR1 will be subject to a gas guzzler tax. It’s been speculated that the gas guzzler tax should come in at $1,700 but I’ve also seen estimates of $2,300 as well. The official gas guzzler tax for the ZR1 will be announced once it has been determined. As a reference point, the gas guzzler tax for the 2018 Corvette Z06 with an auto transmission was $1,300.

As far as all the other Corvette models, pricing is exactly the same. Here’s a quick recap:

2019 Corvette Stingray:

  • $55,495 – Coupe
  • $59,495 – Convertible
  • $60,495 – Coupe w/ Z51
  • $64,495 – Convertible w/ Z51

2019 Corvette Grand Sport:

  • $65,495 – Coupe
  • $69,495 – Convertible

2019 Corvette Z06:

  • $79,495 – Coupe
  • $83,495 – Convertible

2019 Corvette ZR1:

  • $118,900 – Coupe
  • $122,900 – Convertible

*$1,095 Destination fee not included.

Once again proving that 2019 Corvette pricing was essentially a cut and paste of 2018, the $495 charge for Black Rose Metallic was listed under the 2019 prices. They reached out to Corvette product manager Harlan Charles who confirmed the color has been discontinued an will no longer be offered.

So far, the Corvettes color choices for 2019 are the current 10 colors available with no mention of the two new colors previously spotted in the order system. Sounds like those new colors, “Dark Shadow Gray” and “Rhythm & Blue” as they are known internally, could be mid-year replacements.

  1. You know I’ve heard about the pricing for the 2019 zr1 corvette now about a dozen times, about it being, 119,000.00 but know one has had the intelligence to put weather its US or Canadian funds, how could someone overlook something as important as this .

  2. Hi Tony

I think it safe to assume that when an American car company is introducing a new car at an American auto show, then the prices discussed would be for the American market. We’ll reach out to Chevrolet to see if they have the pricing set yet for Canada.

  3. US or Canadian funds??? US funds of course.
Canada has a smaller population than California, why would it be canadian $
