National Corvette Museum to Hold its First Raffle of a 2015 Corvette Z06

If a new Corvette Z06 is on your holiday wish list, you may want to give want to give the jolly old elf (no, not your uncle Leo, Santa Claus) a helping hand. A Z06 is tough to wrap and might not easily fit into Santa’s sleigh, not to mention giving Dancer, Prancer et al. a tough flight. Rather than ask Santa, the National Corvette Museum has better idea for you.

On Thursday, December 4, 2014, the NCM will hold its first ever raffle of a 2015 Z06. This is the car that has taken the automotive world by storm, a performance super car that can be driven on a daily basis—something all of us could use. Tickets are $300 each and sales are limited to 1,000 tickets.

The Torch Red coupe with a Jet Black leather interior comes equipped with the following goodies:

  • LT4 supercharged 650 hp V8 engine
  • 7-speed manual transmission
  • 2LZ equipment package
  • Black aluminum wheels with red brake calipers
  • Carbon flash hood stinger stripe
  • Carbon flash mirrors and spoiler
  • Infotainment connectivity and navigation
  • Performance data and voice recorder
  • Front vision camera
  • Battery protection package
  • Corvette museum delivery

Winning the just car itself would be a fantastic experience, but you get even more. The winner also receives a VIP tour of the NCM and the Corvette assembly plant, a one-year individual membership to the NCM, hands-on training/instruction by a NCM delivery team member, a program decal and a wall plaque. You also get a chance to be world famous—R8C museum deliveries are broadcast worldwide via the museum’s webcams.

Be sure and let your spouse, significant other, housemate or really good friend know about the raffle and suggest they buy several tickets—after all a Z06 would make a very cool present for you. If they win, you may have to promise to keep the Vette in the garage and act surprised when the time comes to open presents, but, hey, it’s small price to pay for a free Z06.
