Sometimes it pays to be No. 1.
Wilson Niblett Chevrolet, the biggest Corvette dealer in Canada, hosted its 12th annual Corvette Technical Session in Richmond Hill on Saturday.
And the guests of honor turned out to be some pretty big names in the Corvette world.
In fact, the 2014 Corvette Stingray made an appearance, along with Kirk Bennion, exterior design manager, and Harlan Charles, Corvette product and marketing manager.
Bennion and Charles took questions from the floor about the new Stingray and gave visitors an idea of how the car went from a concept to a production vehicle.
The Corvette Stingray on display wasn’t one of the two show cars that are currently roaming North America. This Stingray is the styling buck that has no interior and it doesn’t run. It was most recently displayed at the Petersen Automotive Museum in Los Angeles.
Niblett Chevrolet has been selling Corvettes for 60 years and has regularly hosted Corvette-related events.
Few of those events draw as much interest, though, as the seventh-generation Corvette, which was unveiled to the public in Detroit back in January and has continued to generate fervent interest around the world ever since.
Wilson Niblett was founded in 1960 and has grown to be Canada’s #1 volume Corvette dealer. In addition to selling new and used Corvettes, Wilson Niblett is also a Callaway Corvette dealer. You can find them on the web at www.CorvetteCanada.ca or call toll free 888-379-8888.
