Hennessey’s 705hp Corvette ZR700

For some the 2009 Corvette ZR1’s 638 horsepower is simply not enough. Hennessey Performance solves that problem with their latest creation, the Corvette ZR700. An extensive list of bolt-ons and a custom tune unleash the fury of the ZR1 by boosting horsepower to 705 and torque to 717lb-ft. The numbers are awe-inspiring.

Hennessey’s Corvette ZR700 rips through the quarter mile in 11.03 seconds at 136 mph. 0-60 mph was timed at 3.1 seconds and 0-150 mph was 13.9 seconds. The estimated top speed is 212 mph.

To squeeze the extra performance out of the Corvette ZR1’s LS9, Hennessey increases the supercharger boost from 11psi to 14psi and then adds a K&N air filter, stainless steel headers, high flow catalytic converters, upgrades the intercooler system and finishes up with a dyno test and tune session. Watch the Corvette ZR700’s quarter mile run at Lonestar Motorsports Park:

If the 705 hp ZR700 isn’t enough for you, Hennessey adds even more upgrades and goes into the engine with high flow cylinder heads and an agressive cam shaft that boosts horsepower to an astonishing 755.
