Every year on the Friday closest to June 30th, the day production started on the 1953 Corvette in Flint Michigan, Corvette enthusiasts celebrate the official birthday of America’s Sports Car by driving their Corvette to work.The annual event was launched in 2001 by Mike Yager and Mid America Motorworks with the goal to get as many Corvettes on the road as possible. Last year, I celebrated Drive Your Corvette to Work Day by making a video of the drive
into downtown Tampa to the datacenter where my websites are hosted. It was a fun experience and I would recommend to any Corvette owner to make plans to include your favorite car for tomorrow’s commute to work.
