Organizers of the 24 Hours of Le Mans have tweaked the Balance of Performance tables on the eve of the 24-hour French Classic. Although the Corvette C7.Rs BoP was unchanged, it’s hard to say right now if that’s something we should be happy about.
GM Receives a New Patent for Advanced Active Aerodynamics
A new GM patent that may be headed to the C8 Corvette was revealed this week thanks to our friend Jeremy Welborn and the MidEngineCorvetteForum.com. The patent is called “Vehicle Ride-Height Dependent Control of Air Deflector” and the drawings contained within the patent publication show the technology as deployed on a C7 Corvette.

In the early days of the C7 Corvette, TS Designs created a number of widebody Corvettes in association with the aftermarket wheels company, Forgiato. These Forgiato widebody Corvettes as they were called were usually painted in a variety of pastels ranging from French Blue to Tangerine Orange.
It’s been a while since we’ve featured a new Forgiato widebody Corvette, but there’s no way we can pass up commenting on this latest build which has a bit more bling, well, everywhere.
