Corvettes for Sale: Former NCRS Top Flight 1963 Corvette Split Window with a 327/340-hp V8 on Hemmings

Sometimes it feels like every Corvette that pops up for sale comes with a list of needs or a handful of red flags.

This 1963 Corvette Split Window Coupe, now listed on Hemmings, is the rare exception — a car with pedigree, documentation, and the kind of long-term care that shows the moment you lay eyes on it.

Back in 1991, this Sting Ray earned two NCRS Top Flight Regional Awards following a full body off restoration. More than three decades later, it still presents in remarkable condition. The seller believes the 45,405 miles showing on the odometer are accurate and judging by the immaculate garage and the overall presentation of the car, it’s easy to believe.

Finished in its correct Daytona Blue (code 916) over Dark Blue vinyl (490A), the car retains its numbers matching 327/340 hp V8, identified by the RE suffix on the engine pad. The partial VIN stamp on the block matches the body VIN, confirming authenticity.

While the car has been fitted with a handful of drivability upgrades — including an aftermarket A/C system, polished intake, chromed alternator, aluminum radiator, and other brightwork — the seller kept every original component. All the correct parts, from the intake and carburetor to the steering wheel, radiator, and even the single circuit master cylinder, are boxed and included with the sale.
