What are PVD wheels and how are they created? These wheels have undergone a process called Physical Vapor Deposition which happens inside a vacuum chamber. Micro-thin layers of chrome are bonded to the surface of aluminum wheels for a look that is out of this world. Through that process, the wheels finish is transformed into Bright Chrome or Black Chrome, and there even a special color tinting process to create the perfect custom wheel color of your choice. Once the process is complete, they are clear coated to protect and enhance the finished wheels.
