With the Australian customer being so far away, there would be no sending back his stock wheels, so Ed purchased a new set of Z06 OEM wheels from our friends at Criswell Chevrolet and then transformed them into the stunning PVD Black Chrome finish. After undergoing close inspection to ensure they were flawless, the wheels were boxed and sent directly to Frank Rejtano in Queensland, Australia where they were mounted in Michelin rubber and installed on his Riptide Blue Z06 Coupe.

Frank isn’t just a regular Corvette enthusiast. He caught the Corvette Fever hard after purchasing his first Corvette-a red C3 back in 1982-and he has been hooked ever since. His bright yellow C2 Corvette won Australia’s prestigious “Street Machine of the Year” award in 1993. Frank’s collection also included a Blue C3 and a C5 Corvette, with the latter being sold to make room for a Blue/Blue C8 Stingray which he showed at Australia’s Corvette Nationals and won the Best C8 award.

Now Frank is planning on returning to the Corvette Nationals with his C8 Z06 Coupe 3LZ and plans on taking home the Best C8 trophy once again. With his “one-of-one” right-hand drive Z06 Coupe now armed with Wheel Craft’s PVD Black Chrome wheels, we would say his chances of winning are excellent!
