It’s a rare occurrence that we see a modification sweep across the Corvette Nation as we have with the underbody air deflectors that helps to route cooler air up into your C8 Corvette’s engine bay. Since those first videos from Brandon’s Garage and Justin @ HorsePower Obsessed, Corvette enthusiasts everywhere has been desperately trying to get their hands on a set of the OEM air deflectors, only to find out they are majorly backordered.
But that’s okay as our friends at DynamicCaps have been working overtime to meet the demand for their innovative 3D printed design that improves on the OEM version. Where innovation meets uncompromising airflow, they have raised the bar with the industry’s only proprietary, advanced air-duct design – engineered from the ground up in the “Aero Widebody Edition“, available for shipping today. They are truly a revolution in underbody airflow management for the 2020+ C8 Stingray, E-Ray, Z06 & ZR1.
These are truly next-level components. Each set of DynamicDucts air deflectors are precision 3D-printed to near perfection and built around a proprietary design that was engineered completely from the ground up to improve airflow while increasing the tolerances in strength and heat management for uncompromising performance. There’s nothing else on the market that comes close.
The advanced Aero Widebody Edition is for those C8 Corvette owners who push their cars harder, driver longer, or simply refuse to compromise. Whether you’re tracking your Corvette or drive hard on the streets, the proven Aero Widebody Edition will help to keep your Corvette’s engine bay cooler, even for those with a modified engine bays.
Here are 11 Reasons why DynamicDucts new Aero Widebody Editions are the best air deflector solution for keeping your C8 Corvette engine bay cooler!
- 25-Hour Manufacturing – Every single set of DynamicDucts undergoes an intensive, no-shortcuts journey: material dehydration, precision 3D printing and expert annealing. Over 25 hours goes into each set of DynamicDucts. True performance demands time, not haste.
- Advanced Composite Materials – Precision engineered in PETG-CF (Polyethylene Terephthalate Glycol w/Carbon Fiber) providing extra rigidity to resist flex & vibration, superior chemical resistance to oils, fuels, and road grime. Excellent moisture/humidity resistance with and rock-solid dimensional stability.
- 60% Wider Intake Design – Engineered to allow greater airflow volume for enhanced heat extraction from headers, catalytic converters, and exhaust components … helping combat heat soak.
- Precision Duct Profile Vanes – Integrated contoured vanes that channel more airflow straight into the engine bay, reducing side spill and turbulence for maximum cooling performance.
- Optimized Airflow Angulation – Precision-engineered geometry designed to direct cooler ambient air exactly where it’s needed most.
- Duct Height Reduction – Finely tuned shorter duct profile for optimized performance and airflow dynamics.
- Enhanced Strength & Heat Resistance – Built tougher to better handle higher temperatures and stresses without compromise.
- Reinforced Mounting Points – Rock-solid attachment for confidence during spirited driving.
- Innovative 2-Point Breakaway System * – Engineered safety feature protects your underbody in the event of impact.
- Integrated PureFlow Grill – Advanced protection keeps rocks, bugs, and road debris out while allowing unrestricted airflow.
- Methodically Tested – Real data. Real results.
GM includes their OEM air deflectors in its European exported C8 Corvettes due to the mandatory gas particulate filters that are required on the exhaust systems in the European Union. Those gas particulate filters can become extremely hot and the GM air deflectors are used to keep those higher thermal temps manageable. Unfortunately, GM’s infamous bean counters didn’t feel the need to equip its domestic C8s with the same air deflectors despite the added cooling benefits that are clearly gained with their installation.
There are two cutouts in the C8 Corvette’s undertray, and the deflectors mount across them, allowing cooler air to be directed directly into the C8 Corvette’s engine bay. We’ve now seen multiple real-world tests where the air deflectors not only help lower the temperatures across critical engine bay components, but they also help to reduce the higher temps that impact the rear trunk.
The Aero Widebody Edition air deflectors take 15 minutes to install using the existing hardware already in place, and no drilling or other modifications are needed. Just unscrew two bolts (requires a TORX Plus EP14 Socket), insert the deflector and then put the 2 bolts back in (19-20 ft-lbs torque)!
DynamicDucts are compatible with all 2020-2026 C8 Corvette models (Coupe/HTC – Stingray, E-Ray & Z06) and they offer a 100% C8 fitment guarantee. * If you were to somehow break DynamicDucts Aero Widebody Edition by hitting a speed bump or pothole within the first year of purchase, they will send you a brand new replacement. As with any aftermarket product, installation and use are at the owner’s discretion. DynamicDucts is not liable for damage resulting from improper installation or use.
DynamicCaps are offering their Aero Widebody Edition air deflectors for $189.95 for a set. Use the discount code CB10 and save 10% and get free UPS shipping, w/tracking, in North America.

I have no reason to believe that airflow on any of these 3D printed pieces outperforms the OEM piece–let alone the durability of it.
Shame no one is offering stamped pieces.
China is gearing up for cheap knock offs to sell on Amazon and eBay. $189 is a bit steep for 3D printing stuff.
