Criswell Chevrolet’s Mike Furman delivers new Corvettes to his customers who come from all across the country to work with the nation’s top individual Corvette seller.

It’s Sunday and that means its time for Mike Furman’s weekly delivery post! Check out these really cool deliveries of a Z06 and E-Ray convertible, and then get a blast from the past as Mike shares a fantastic collection of throwback and vintage pics for your viewing pleasure. “This is one of those photos that speaks volumes as to why this period in motorsports is considered by some to be a golden era.

Unlike racing today spectators at Sebring back in 1958 could relate to what was on the track because street versions of those cars were available from manufacturers.

The #3 purple Corvette SR2 was driven by Augie Pabst and Jim Jeffords.

The #8 Jag D-Type was driven by Ivor Bueb and Ninian Sanderson.

The #26 Aston Martin DB2/4 Mk III was driven by George Constantine and John Dalton

Barely visible in this group is an Aston Martin DBR1/300 driven by Carroll Shelby and Roy Salvadori.

None of the cars in this photo finished the race. The winning car was a factory Ferrari 250 TR Scaglietti Spyder 58 driven by Phil Hill and Peter Collins. One more thing, in 1958 Sheb Wooley had a popular song called “The Purple People Eater.” Some referred to that purple Corvette with that moniker.” From Louis Gallanos

~Keith M. of Commack, New York factory ordered from me his new Arctic White 2026 Corvette Eray Convertible, Corvette #4 that he has owned. Last month I gave him a sight unseen trade in value on his 2021 Corvette and today he drove down from Long Island to make the switch. I had him in and out in under 30 minutes. Equipment: 3LT, Sky cool gray/Black two tone interior, CF painted Nacelles/roof, front lift, bright red calipers, red seat belts and much more.
