My, how times have changed in the last three years.
If you have ever wanted to climb behind the wheel of your own C8 Corvette Z06, now may be the best time ever. Chevrolet was forced to sideline sales of the 2025 Z06s due to the STOP SALE order issued on August 21st, and then they continued to build the 2026 Z06s but were unable to ship them until just recently. With dealers looking to clear that 2025 inventory, it’s your chance to negotiate a price well below MSRP.
Our friend Mike from the Brink of Speed YouTube Channel is looking at this as an unprecedented buyers’ market for one of the hottest cars on the market. Chevy has over 1,300 2025s and another 1,300 2025s currently listed on the Chevrolet Live Inventory Tracker, and the 2026 Z06s will continue to grow.
Mike says the dealers are motivated as they’ve been sitting on hundreds of thousand dollars in inventory over the last two months. They been unable to move the final cars for 2025 and now the 2026s are being made and shipped. Mike remembers back in 2019 when all those dealers were sitting on C7s when everyone was waiting for the C8 to come. Back then, you could score a discount on a C7Z 06 of nearly $20,000 and in this current market, we could see similar discounts for the C8 Z06.

It helps to make a gameplan before visiting your dealer and Mike says you must be ready to purchase immediately. He also suggests reaching out to multiple dealers. These cars have been sitting for months, so dealers are motivated and it’s time to strike while the market is hot. You have the opportunity to score a new 2025 Z06 with the depreciation already baked into the deal.

Discounts and depreciation, cash is king. Instead of dealing with stealerships and crappy service departments, I would rather spend a few extra dollars and find a nice low mileage C7 Z06 with a M7 and give it to a deserving seller
But here I thought Mr. “I lied about how loyal I am to the E-Ray” said it was all doom and gloom, and that the ER was not in demand an excessive amounts were sitting on dealer lots.
Lies.
And ice cream is still being sold at a premium. What a shame.
Well when you make something that knowone can afford except the rich YouTubers that don’t work there going to sit on the lots.
